INCREDIBLE!! I have to start off by saying that this RPG is one of my personal favorites for many supportive reasons. I beat this on both XBOX 360 and PS3 so I have literally seen everything the game has to offer.
The story is labeled "cliche" by many people but I beg to differ. It is very unique and has well balanced pacing and great story telling. Very interesting stuff.
The sound is fantastic in my opinion. I find myself listening to the soundtrack pretty often.
And finally, THE GAMEPLAY. I have to honestly say that this may very well prove to be my favorite battle system of ALL TIME! It keeps you in the action because of the very unique, and fun battle system that was never seen in many turn based RPG's before. It has a "Grid" system where you move your players across a limited amount of blocks where you must figure out your attack ranges for different characters to successfully defeat the enemy. It may sound familiar, but Enchant Arm executes this grid system in a different way and proves to be a great success.
Looking back on both memorable times beating this game, I have to say that it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had in my history of gaming. I THINK I MIGHT BEAT IT AGAIN LOL!!
Value for money... At this price, it's simply value for money...
Game is good but not great...
Any rpg fan should be able to pick it up with no problems!!
Thanks alot play-asia...
Excellent Service as usual!!
Excellent This RPG is not everyone's cup of tea that's for sure, it contains a lot of elements that you will either love or hate, or can put up with.
The game has a solid story and is a fun RPG once it gets going. The intro is somewhat long, dull, and at times downright irritating, but once the game kicks in and things get moving everything improves drastically.
The game is very linear even by JRPG standards, so people who are lokoing for an Oblivion experience should stay away.
Lastly the PS3 version with new Six-Axis mini-games and extra footage is great! Having played it on the Xbox360 I was skeptical how much better it would be, but it truly is. The enhancements, while minor, really do improve the game. It seems to be a trend now that the 360 gets the games earlier, but the PS3 gets the definitive versions.
great classical RPG if you are a fan of traditional RPGs with rather classical gameplay, then this is the right game for you.
the scenery is beautiful, especially in the beginning of the game. yokohama city is filled with plenty of details, never seen before in any console RPG.
the battle system requires some tactical involvement but battles are generally very easy. in fact most battles can even be fought using the auto battle function.
if you like japanese RPGs, then get this one, it's an absolute gem.
