The anime movie "AKIRA" is a cornerstone of the cyberpunk genre; praised everywhere around the world the music is an important part of its global success.
Due to this many artists pay their musical tribute to Akira with the "AKIRA REMIX" album. Produced by Katsuhiro Otomo, this album features 19 tracks of the film soundtrack remixed by Makoto Kubota (Makoto Kubota & the Sunset Gang), Yasuharu Konishi (Pizzicato Five) & Kuniaki Haishima (Monster, Macross Zero...), and many other superstars!
This soundtrack was used in 2023 in the "Akira Cel Exhibition".
