ONE. (Multi-Language)

ONE. is an old Visual Novel that has recieved an excellent face lift. I have only completed one route so far but I found the experience to be quite good.

The particular route I choose wasn't that long, about 15 hours or so but I reckon if you want to see all the routes you have plenty to do.

ONE. has excellent presentation both in the visual and audio department, some minor translation errors but nothing major. Overall if you're itching for some day to day high school life with romance you can't go wrong with ONE.

This VN has a bit of history as some of those who worked on the original helped create KEY, the visuals are stunning throughout and the OST is also pretty good. If you're a fan of VN's don't pass up on this one and I'd also recommend it for newcomers as well as those who are short on time as it doesn't take too long to finish a single route

First ever VS I experienced and I fully enjoyed. Great graphics and amazing soundtrack.

In One we will live the day to day life of Orihara Kouhei, a tremendously lazy boy who goes to school because he has no other choice and who has quite a lot of people skills, since he gets along well with everyone and especially has a magnet for girls, even when He risks his life by bullying none other than someone with a very bad temper, but a huge heart. Each day, we will have a few scenes, which usually start with our teenager waking up with his river of hormones fighting to exchange bodily fluids, and will usually end with him going to bed. In addition, we will see on a calendar what day it is and if he has class or is, for example, during exam time.

With this method of the passage of time, we will be presented with different characters to interact with depending on the decisions we make, such as: eating with a specific classmate, going to club activities, participating in note games in the middle. of the class, be kind or mischievous with this one or the other...

This story of VN is interesting but not great. It really only becomes better once you start a girl's route but even then it remains merely above average for the most part. As for other aspects of the game, the CGs are spectacular and has good voice acting and nice music. If you're a fan of Key's VNs then I highly recommend this since you will undoubtedly love it. Just don't go in expecting another Clannad or Little Busters.
