Summer 1996, Today is the day!. You hit the road. Adventure. Freedom. Escape. Run. Flee Petria, flee the Regime, try to survive.
On this risky road trip to the border, you’ll meet unusual characters, discover their intertwined stories and secrets in an ever-evolving adventure. But every mile opens up a choice to make. Your decisions will change your adventure, change the people you meet, maybe even change the country's destiny.
There are thousands of roads across the authoritarian nation of Petria.

Vanillaware Strikes Again
If you're a fan of authors such as Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov this is a game for you. The story in this game is amazing. As the name implies it revolves around 13 protagonists and how they relate to each other.
As for the game play it's split by three modes. Destruction let's you control the sentinels (Giant Mecha) and fend of hordes of Kaiju in RTS manner. The second mode is called Remembrance and here you choose a character and a episode begins.
This game is very episodic in nature and is well suited for handheld playing in short sessions despite it's big story. The third and final mode (Analysis) let's you view events that you witnessed and read about characters and various items.
I enjoyed both modes, but if you're not a fan of RTS you can change the difficulty to causal and it becomes like a walk in the park. The voice acting is superb. the soundtrack I would rate above average. The game have some very minute issues, nothing major. However once you cleared the game there's very little to do and nothing to unlock. Since I play these kind of games for the story it have very little replay value.
That said, the game last around 20-30 hours with stellar visuals!

It is extremely surprising how such a wonderful gem actually has a reasonable cost.
Not only this game is beautiful, if you like strategy games and want one in anime style which again is beautiful than you definitely should pick this up. The only problem is that you might want more of this game.

One of the best naratives ever!
If you are a fan of Sci-Fi and good engaging plot, then this is a must have. You'll be following a plot of 13 different characters in a superb and engaging plot that will keep you second-guessing what will happen next. Game is broken up in 2 segments. One is visual novel like gameplay, except you control characters in 2D side-scrolling manner, and other segment is a addicting top-down real-time strategy, where you play as various members from the story as they’re piloting giant mechs. Vanillaware struck another gold mine with this game, which needs to be in your collection.
